About this Location

Cable’s Creek Road (Warbler Alley) leads to a small parking area where a footbridge crosses Cable’s Creek. The trail then winds up and over an old dune system primarily covered in conifers until it emerges on the beautiful sand dunes at Cable’s Bay. The varied habitats between East Side Drive and the Cable’s Bay dune system attract many warbler species, both migrant and nesting. The entire area has been nicknamed “Warbler Alley” for the number of warbler species found along the road and trail.
