Scope definitely helps since some marsh and ponds are a little far for binoculars. There are a few ponds next to road.  

Waterfowl, herons, egrets & shorebirds.

Unpaved road is very dusty and many 18 wheel trucks are driving road so keep windows closed.

No hiking trails.
