Tips for Birding

There is a great trail system with various habitats. The field north of the Tot Lot usually offers nesting Henslow's Sparrow and Sedge Wren in the summer in addition to Brown Thrasher, Yellow Warbler, Common Yellowthroat and more. The Woodland Trail is mostly mature, wet forest and the Farmland Trail offers both brushy habitat and mature woods. The new Nature Center usually has nesting Tree, Barn, Rough-winged and Cliff Swallows in the summer.

Birds of Interest

Henslow's Sparrow, Sedge Wren, Brown Thrasher, Barred Owl, warblers.
