Pine Pit Conservation Area, 18 acres, is open to the public for hiking, birdwatching, and nature study. The trails are well-maintained and offer scenic views of the surrounding landscape. 

Pine Pit Conservation Area is a town-owned property that abuts (and has connecting trails to) the Woodland Acres property and the Mass Audubon Norwood Hills Wildlife Sanctuary.
