This site offers some easy access to the riverside habitat on the west side of the park. Walk the turn around for passerines. The River Tail also passes though some scubby riverside habitat.
Black-tailed Gnatcatcher, Rock and Canyon Wren, Mexican Duck, Eastern Phoebe, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, White-crowned and Lincoln's Sparrows and Common Yellowthroat have all been reported from this location.
This location consists of a couple of picnic tables, a vault toilet and some parking. There is a short developed trail to the river.
There is an entrance fee to Big Bend National Park.
