Longmire Park

Tips for Birding

One loop trail through a small neighborhood park is all there is. Local woodland breeders and regular migrants are to be expected.

Birds of Interest

Local woodland breeders and regular migrants are to be expected. A pair of Barred Owls is probably resident/breeds (I live across from the park and hear them regularly), but it has never been eBirded from the park itself!

About this Location

A small (ca. 1 acre) neighborhood park with one wheelchair-accessible concrete trail. Parking is on a fairly busy street. Not tremendously birdy, with no spectacular records, but a very pleasant location for a stroll.

Notable Trails

The trail, period.
