Sunset Farm is a historic property that overlooks the Great Bay estuary. The site has been farmed since the 1700s, and the current farmhouse and barn were rebuilt in 1915 after a fire. The property was sold to the New Hampshire Chapter of the Nature Conservancy in 2000 and then transferred to New Hampshire. Fish and Game Department. The Great Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve (GBNERR) is now working to restore and renovate the site for public access and education, as well as for research and monitoring of the estuary's ecology and climate change impacts. 

Sunset Farm is on Emery Lane adjacent to the southeast section of Great Bay.
