~1.3 mile mowed loop that is generally flat. The trail can become ponded during periods of heavy rain. The portion of the trail from the parking lot to the covered bridge (~400) feet is improved and considered accessible by MCPD. No pets and no biking on site.
The wetlands and uplands restored at Granger Wetlands provide a number of different habitats that support a diversity of bird species. In the center of the property the trail runs adjacent to a deeper wetland pool that is usually inundated during winter months through spring - this area provides good opportunities to view waterfowl during spring migration and wetland birds during the summer when it becomes vegetated.
