This is a .13 mile walk on a flat, elevated old road, running from the south end of Central Street (just south of the Katy Trail) to the Missouri River near the mouth of Moniteau Creek.  Bottomland woods, a slough, and Missouri River sandbars provide a good variety of habitat.  There is room for two cars in the parking area at the trailhead, and additional parking along Central Street.
