Quaboag River Bridge

Brookfield, Massachusetts 01506

About this Location

The Quaboag River Bridge spans the Quaboag River. The bridge connects the towns of Brookfield and West Brookfield and provides access to Quaboag Pond, a popular destination for boating and fishing. The current bridge was built in 2016 and is dedicated to Joseph F. Murray, a former teacher, police chief, and selectman of Brookfield who served the community for many years. The bridge replaced an older one that was damaged by floods in 2005.

Fiskdale Road (MA-148) crosses the Quaboag River on the Quaboag River Bridge. There is a public canoe launch on the north side of the river and the Whites Landing canoe outfitter on the south side of the river.
