Check trees and streamside bushes for spring and fall migrants; northeast center of main parking lot can be very good for sparrows. A retention basin on the north side sometimes attracts shorebirds.

The Met Center Disc Golf Course, designed by John Houck, challenges players with lots of long open fields and tight wooded fairway holes.

The publicly accessible disc golf course is adjacent to and surrounding a small intermittent stream.
