Town Marsh is a wetland area that covers about 200 acres and provides habitats for various wildlife species, including ducks, herons, turtles, frogs, and beavers. The marsh is a valuable resource for flood control, water quality, and recreation. The town of Strafford has been working to protect and restore the marsh since the 1990s, with the help of local volunteers and organizations. Town Marsh is open to the public for hiking, fishing, birdwatching, and canoeing.
