The Kingsbury Greenway is a 1.3-mile trail that connects the Warren Riverside Park to the Sugarbush snowmaking pond on the Mad River.
From the park, walk north along VT-100 for a short distance crossing the Clay Brook to the Golden Lion Riverside Inn. North of the Inn, the path is on an ancient alignment of VT-100, passing an historic former river crossing and continuing to the iron truss bridge on VT-100 that crosses the Mad River, known locally as the Kingsbury Bridge. The path crosses VT-100 at the pond access road and continues along this dirt road for half a mile before reaching the trail behind the pond. For a further walk, circumnavigate the pond, keeping an eye out for the resident beaver.
The All Trails website has a description and map of a hike on the Kingsbury Greenway.
