Oregon Drive x Empire Avenue, Modesto, California 95354
Stanislaus County Parks Official WebsiteOregon Park, also known as Oregon Drive Park, is located in the unincorporated residential area known as the Airport Neighborhood in the southern portion of Modesto. The park forms a triangle approximately four acres in size and is bounded by Oregon Drive on the south, Tioga Drive to the north, and Empire Avenue at its eastern vertex. The park was renovated in 2023 and reopened on October 17, 2023, with all new or renovated features and landscaping. Facilities and amenities include a basketball court, restrooms, picnic shelter, picnic tables, drinking fountains, children's playground, splash pad, adult exercise area, and a paved trail that loops around the park. All of the parks in this part of Modesto have experienced some rough handling over the past several years, so it is great to see this park get the care and attention it deserves. Now that the park has reopened with fresh landscaping, Oregon Park should be a better place for both people and birds.
