Though not a park in the truest sense, it is more established and publicly visitable than many of the roadside birding hotspots on eBird. The area is abandoned though open to the public.

There is a turnoff and an older paved road that leads down to the water's edge and sufficient space to park. As well as riparian habitat, there is an old lock wall where the river is calmer.
