This location provides opportunities to view overwintering waterfowl.

Lock 19 (Scotts Mills) is located south of the Lansdowne St. Bridge over the Otonabee River at the outlet to Little Lake.

This location provides views of the Otonabee River above and below the dam and lock, as well as birding on the trail along the river.

Ample parking is available in the lot at the end of Morphet Ave. There is also limited parking at the turn around at the end of Braidwood Ave. Please don't block any driveways on Braidwood Ave.

A short (350m) trail stretches along the river from the Lock Station to the east end of Braidwood Ave. The trail is popular with dog walkers.
