Little Parker Pit is a historic quarry site located in Rockport. It was established in the late 18th century by the Parker family, who used the granite extracted from the pit for various construction projects. The pit covers an area of about 12 acres and has a depth of over 100 feet. The site is now owned by the town of Rockport and is open to the public as a recreational area. Visitors can enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, and picnicking at Little Parker Pit, as well as exploring the remnants of the quarrying operations.
