Tips for Birding

Park on the side of the road at the location of the eBird marker. The pond is the main feature of this property in Comal county, and it is kept well-mowed. Some waterfowl are common but intermittent.

To the northwest of the pond, there is a large ditch filled with brush. This is your best bet for sparrows, finches, wrens, and siskins.

About this Location

These trails are located on the land of the former Northcliffe golf course. Parking is available at the former clubhouse or on the side of the street where the Comal county eBird marker is.

Please be mindful of the residential areas surrounding this hotspot. Many residents do not have fenced-in yards.

Restrooms are available on the parcel of land between Columbia and Pebble Beach (also only accessible by foot).
