Green's Hill is a historic site located in Beverly. It was the site of a Revolutionary War fortification that overlooked the Danvers River and Salem Harbor. The hill was named after Major General Nathanael Greene, who commanded the American forces in the area.
Green’s Hill provides a unique perspective on the City of Beverly with its extensive vista across the Bass River to downtown Beverly. The full Bass River loop is roughly two miles. There are views from the boardwalk across to the historic site of the mill at the outlet from Shoe Pond.
