Walkers Pond covers 102 acres and has a maximum depth of 8 feet. The pond is the uppermost pond in a series of ponds leading to Stony Brook; Upper Mill and Lower Mill are the other two ponds leading to the brook.
The shoreline is wooded and lightly developed. The pond can be accessed off Slough Road from Setucket Road. There is a town-owned paved launch ramp suitable for cartop boats (i.e., there is a sharp drop-off into the pond and there is no pavement beyond the pond shore).
