Tips for Birding

A scope is helpful for viewing distant birds on the wetland. The best viewing points for the wetland are at the observation deck on the north side and along the northwest part of the trail.

About this Location

The eBird hotspot marker is at the northend of the wetland in the park. The best birding is around this wetland. The trail is about 2.5 miles long and is level. At the north end there is a short wooden observation deck There are an two elevated observation towers for viewing the wetland. One is along the west side and the other on the south side. There is ample parking at both the south side and the north side of the wetland. The trail is frequently used by walkers, joggers, and birders. There is a butterfly garden at the south end.
