The Vietnam Veterans Memorial is a national memorial that honors the veterans of the Vietnam War. It is located near US-64 in Angel Fire, a village in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. The memorial was established in 2005 and is now under the Department of Veteran Services. It features a chapel, a garden, a Huey helicopter, and a walkway with bricks inscribed with the names of soldiers. The memorial also has a museum that displays exhibits and shows a film about the war. The memorial is open daily from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and admission is free.
