A scope is useful for viewing waterfowl out in the lake.

B.E.L. Rotary Park is located at the west end of the James Gifford Causeway.

The park is primarily an extensive parking area that provides views of Chemong Lake. There is also a gazebo that can provide shelter from inclement weather.
