Birds of Interest

Mississippi Kite can often be found in or near this park in the summer. Woodpeckers include Golden-fronted, Ladder-backed, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker and Northen Flicker. Olive-side Flycatcher and Western Wood-Pewee have been reported from this park. White-breasted and Red-breasted Nuthatch, Golden-crowned and Ruby-crowned Kinglet and Brown Creep have all been reported here!!
