Pileated Woodpecker, Summer Tanager

Hickory Hills is located 13 miles south of Indianola on US Highway 69, just south of Medora and the intersection of Highway G76. The developed areas of the park are on the ridge above Squaw Creek with a few trails wandering down into the riparian zone. An old barn is available for rent for larger gatherings and primitive camping is available.

The trail which starts at the end of the campground leads to several Native American mounds.
