If you carefully keep your bird records by state, be aware of the location of the state line and use the appropriate eBird hotspots when you submit checklists.
The Oak Terrace parking area below the Sarah Mildred Long Bridge provides views of the Piscataqua River, which forms the border between New Hampshire and Maine. The parking area has a small pier, a boat ramp, and benches. The bridge, which was completed in 2018, is a lift bridge that allows ships to pass through the river. The bridge is named after Sarah Mildred Long, a former Maine-New Hampshire Bridge Authority official who advocated for its construction.
