Hondo Nature Trail includes a garden, playground, and a nice trail that loops through oak trees and around a pond. There is a painted rock garden, plenty of picnic benches, and bathrooms as well. 

The main trail is approximately 2/3 of a mile long. It is an easy walk with some slight inclines and declines. There are quite a few small side trails that all lead back to the main trail in the end.
