Hammond Nature Preserve is a forested area in Bow. Access is off Dunbarton Center Road and Brown Hill Road.
The land was originally owned by David Hammond, who settled in Bow in 1791 and bought the farm of Richard Dow. The Town of Bow purchased the property from the Hammond family heirs in 2007 and opened it to the public as a nature preserve. The preserve covers 143 acres and includes an old sawmill site, Paul's Falls, and several trails that cross streams, swamps, and fields. Visitors can enjoy hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and wildlife viewing.
The AllTrails website has descriptions and maps of hikes at Hammond Nature Preserve.
