Disabled fishing area of Liggett Cove, the deepest water on lake Jacomo, a favorite location for cat fishing. Great views of open water and the dam. In the winter a spot to look for Loons, Scoters, and other water foul. In the last fue winters the Parks Department has taken to closing the area off, Gravel roads into the area are good for sparrows & long spurs. Old woodlands are good for woodpeckers & warblers. Prairie areas along the road add prairie species. Spring and fall migrations are good for a large variety of species.

This breathtaking 970-acre lake is located in the heart of Fleming Park, one of Jackson County Parks + Rec's premier recreational areas. Enjoy colorful sailboat regattas, while pontoon boaters take a leisurely cruise across the lake! Lake Jacomo's limited-horsepower regulation affords a relaxing outing for the water enthusiast.
