It is best to use whichever hotspot in this area best represents your observations. If you bird anywhere to the west (upstream) from here, either the Main Section or the 42nd Street hotspot may be more appropriate.

From this location, you can walk west (upriver) to the 42nd Street area and beyond, or walk east along the Reedy Creek trail.

This hotspot seems to be intended for checklists located at Reedy Creek, and/or the Reedy Creek Trail. It shares the same parking lot as the "Main Section" hotspot, and the two hotspots are just 100 meters apart.

There are 2-3 portable toilets here.

The James River Park System includes parks, trails, and many eBird Hot Spots along the river through metropolitan Richmond City. Birding here provides year-round opportunities in a variety of habitats: river, wetlands, riparian woods, river islands, and more.
