Van Horn Park is in the northern Liberty Heights neighborhood of Springfield, in a subdivision called Hungry Hill. It is the second largest park in the city, after Forest Park, and covers an area of 0.54 square miles. The park features Van Horn Park Pond-River, which has two dams that were created to enhance the water activities in the park. The park has tennis courts, trails, bike trails, baseball diamonds, and basketball courts
