This is a Volunteer Public Access (VPA) area managed by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources. A hunting/fishing license or lands pass is required to access property.

Tallapoosa River VPA is a 3,053-acre property located between Cedartown and Buchanan. Hunting opportunities include deer, turkey (for youth only) and small game.  No ATVs or camping allowed.
