Large trees in the otherwise treeless Southern Great Plains makes for good passerine and migrant traps.  So city parks in the Texas Panhandle can be a prime spot for birding.

No really notable trails but there are nice walking paths throughout the park. Mostly level flat trails which might be suitable for wheelchairs or scooters.
