Beaver Lake is a private lake of approximately 152 acres located in the western portion of Ware. The lake was created in 1893 by the Ware Rod and Gun Club, which dammed a stream that flowed through a swampy area. The lake is currently owned and managed by Beaver Lake Trust, a land trust that ensures the preservation and protection of the lake for future generations. Beaver Lake Club Corporation is a non-profit organization of eligible property owners who cooperate with the trust and enjoy various recreational activities on the lake, such as fishing, swimming, boating, and picnicking. The lake has three private beaches, two boat launches, and a clubhouse for members only. The lake has a maximum depth of 16 feet.
