Access to the Comfort Wastewater Treatment Plant is restricted to those who have permission to enter. Your best bet is to ask on local birding Facebook pages for information. That's how I was able to go in once.

Please do not try to view birds from the parking lot or go in without permission because they might stop all access.

Lots of ducks and other water birds. Often see Herons, Egrets and shore birds.

This is located next to the Buckhorn Golf Course. There are three water areas connected by berms. The footing is often uneven and the ground sloped at an angle. Good footwear is essential.
