Storrs Pond Recreation Area, located minutes from downtown Hanover, is an outdoor destination managed by the Hanover Improvement Society for members.

Since 1935, families have enjoyed its beautiful surroundings while embracing all the area has to offer. Members swim in the pool, take a refreshing dip in the pond, or cool off in the splash pad. Sleep under the stars at one of our 12 tent or 17 RV sites or plan an event at one of our four Pavilions. Hike our challenging trails, explore the area, try out disc golf, play tennis, or simply relax. 

 The recreation area has two sandy beaches for swimming in Storrs Pond, a pool, four tennis courts, a basketball half-court, beach volleyball, pavilion rentals, campsites, watercraft rental, and more. Open seasonally.
