This park was named for Inverlea, former residence of Robert Dennistoun (1815-1895), a Scots immigrant, and Peterborough County Judge, 1868 to 1886. Link to Historic Plaque.
The park is on Dennistoun Ave. but is accessed via Inverlea St. from Water St. just north of Parkhill Rd, as Dennistoun, Inverlea, and Water are all one way streets.
