This is the summit of Knox Mountain.

Knox Mountain is a summit in the Green Mountain range. It is the highest peak in Chittenden County, with an elevation of 3,064 feet above sea level. The mountain is composed of light-gray, quartz-rich biotite-muscovite granite, which is part of the New Hampshire Plutonic Suite. 

Knox Mountain is a trailless peak with views of the White Mountains and open glades from the summit.
