Hammond Pond covers an area of 57 acres and has a maximum depth of 18 feet. The pond is fed by several streams and springs and drains into the Little River. Hammond Pond is popular for fishing, boating, swimming, and wildlife viewing. 

Hammond Pond is south of Goshen between Pond Hill Road on the north end and South Chesterfield Road on the sound end.
