About this Location

Indian Pond was once a private summer camp for kids, but it was purchased by the Bay Shore Council of the Boy Scouts of America in 1962. The council later divided the reservation into two camps: Camp Weston and Camp Waskeche. Indian Pond is also home to the Schwaegler Family Tree Farm and Pondside Lodge, a small conference center that hosts events and retreats.

The town of Orford has a public beach off Host Lane on Indian Pond for residents.
