Wheeler Mountain is a popular hiking destination in Willoughby State Forest. It offers views of Lake Willoughby and the surrounding mountains, as well as interesting rock formations along the trail. 

Wheeler Mountain Trail is a 4.3-mile out-and-back trail located near Sutton, Vermont that offers the chance to see wildlife and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, running, and nature trips and is best used from March until November.
