Birdsall Wildlife Area websiteBirdsall Wildlife Area is a 242.9 hectare property that is managed for the protection and conservation of important ecological features and valuable wildlife habitat. The property includes a Provincially Significant Wetland and an Area of Natural and Scientific Interest (ANSI), this area provides habitat for a wide variety of species.

May to October | 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
November to April | 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
No access permitted outside posted times; this conservation area is open Year Round.

CAMPING
There is no overnight camping offered at Birdsall Wildlife Area.
HUNTING
Waterfowl hunting only, is permitted along the shoreline of Rice Lake. Archery hunting for white-tailed deer is allowed in areas of the property located within the Township of Otonabee-South Monaghan, only.
A valid permit is required.
