Tips for Birding

The nature trail along Clear Creek is the best place to spend time. A new retention pond on the north side of the park attracts diving ducks in the winter. 

Birds of Interest

Eastern Bluebirds are resident in the park. Mississippi Kites a summer residents. There is a resident pair of Barred Owls and Great Horned Owl is regular. Pileated Woodpeckers are resident. Migrants are good along the creek trail.
