The Mascoma River flows through the town of Lebanon, New Hampshire. It originates from Mascoma Lake. The river then runs through downtown Lebanon, where it passes by the historic Lebanon Opera House, a cultural center that hosts plays, concerts, and other events. The river provides a natural corridor for the Mascoma River Greenway, a paved multi-use trail that connects Lebanon with West Lebanon and the Northern Rail Trail.
