Can be good for large flocks of geese and waterfowl.  When water levels are low there is often a large exposed mudflat that looks like it has potential for shorebirds.

Notable Trails

The Promise Rock trail and the Rotary Greenway Trail are on the east side of the road and can be accessed from the parking area to the south (at Lock 22- Nassau Mills).
