This 88 acre property is mostly wooded but has a few acres of grassland. Trails are still being developed. Even the current gravel trail can be soft so wear sturdy shoes or boots. The hiking is not too strenuous. There is no pond or real accessible marshland. Most notable observations will be forest birds.
This preserve is mostly wooded, and so far has had important forest bird observations such as Ovenbirds, Wood Thrushes, Hooded Warbler, Barred Owl, and others.
This is an 88 acre preserve recently acquired by Bath Township. The preserve will prevent housing developments in the forest. It also preserves the headwaters to the North Fork Creek, which runs into Yellow Creek.
There will be a "triple loop trail" which is partially completed at the moment.
