It is located just south of the Dike exit on Highway 20. This is a mostly open area with a paved path along the lake. There are soft trails that meander along a creek and through the attached prairie. The trails will also lead you to Ringneck Wildlife Area (or you can park in the gravel parking lot on 170th Street (Map). Ringneck contains a marsh that is home to many shorebirds and waterfowl in the spring and fall (when water levels are adequate).
