Dickcissel, Cassin's Sparrow, White-crowned Sparrow, Red-winged Blackbird, Yellow-headed Blackbird
Visit the nation’s largest working wildflower farm. The farm has more than 1,000 cultivated acres in Texas and over 200 acres of wildflower fields at its Hill Country headquarters outside of Fredericksburg.
If you are looking for the best time to view the wildflowers, note that the peak blooming season is from March until early October. During this time, you can also spot both butterflies and hummingbirds as the farm is part of their migratory path.
There is a walking trail that goes through the wildflower fields.
