Meadowmere Park is a 51-acre City of Grandview facility with a community center, playgrounds, community garden, and paved trail system. The entrance to the main parking lot is on Byars Road (N38o52'34" E94o30'30"). Additional access points are a parking lot at 138th Street and Winchester Avenue (N38o52'24" E94o30'46"), a pedestrian access (no parking lot) at 137th Street at Winchester Avenue (N38o52'31" E94o30'46"), and a pedestrian access (no parking lot) at 136th Street east of Cambridge Avenue (N38o52'39" E94o30'45"). The latter is the driveway to Meadowmere Elementary School. The park is mowed with forest patches along a riparian corridor.

Notable Trails

The paved Little Blue River Trail begins at 136th Street east of Cambridge Avenue and follows a riparian corridor southeast 1/2 mile through the park to Byars Road. Short spur trails lead to the 137th Street and 138th Street accesses. The trail crosses Byars Road and continues east 1/2 mile to a junction with Longview Bike Trail in Longview Lake County Park.
