In 2000, the Estate of Anthony Texeira sold 16 acres to the Town. Pine and oak woodland borders the former farmland which has since returned to open meadow. Fields and meadows are uncommon here, representing less than 2% of the habitat types on Cape Cod. Bird nestboxes host tree swallows, bluebirds, and other species. Queen Anne’s Lace and other wildflowers bloom each summer.

From MA-124 take Queen Anne Road for approximately 0.3 miles east to the parking area on your right (just past Oak Street).
From the MA-39 rotary, take Queen Anne Road approximately 2 miles west to the parking area on your left.
